Introducing Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Following the resounding success of the first installment, FNAF 2, developed by Scott Cawthon, puts players in the role of Jeremy Fitzgerald, the new night shift security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a family restaurant that has just reopened.

The restaurant has spent a huge amount of money upgrading its animatronics with advanced facial recognition technology. However, it seems the system is malfunctioning… and they're starting to treat you like an unclothed endoskeleton and will do anything to fit you into a bloody Freddy bear suit.

Gameplay & New Survival Mechanisms in FNAF 2

Compared to FNAF, Part 2 brings immense pressure by stripping away your safest defense: No more security doors! You'll have to survive from midnight to 6 AM with completely new mechanics:

• Freddy's Mask (Freddy Fazbear Head): Since there are no doors, the only way to avoid most animatronics when they enter the office is to quickly put on the Freddy mask. They'll mistake you for one of their own and leave.
• Flashlight: The front hallway is completely dark. You must use a flashlight to illuminate and stun certain animatronics (like Foxy). Be careful; the flashlight battery isn't unlimited.
• Music Box: This is the most deadly mechanic. In Camera 11 (Prize Corner), there's a music box that you have to constantly wind up. If the music stops, The Puppet will escape and finish you off regardless of whether you're wearing a mask or not.

The Animatronics You'll Face

FNAF 2 has a total of 11 enemies, divided into two main groups:

• The Toy Animatronics (New): Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Mangle. They look sleek and friendly but are extremely dangerous at night.
• The Withered Animatronics (Old): Broken, terrifying versions from the first film (Withered Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy). They were abandoned in the Parts & Service room but have awakened.
• The Puppet (Marionette) & Balloon Boy (BB): Two of the most frustrating elements. BB won't kill you, but it will steal your flashlight battery, paving the way for Foxy to attack.

Tips to survive

• Prioritize the Music Box: Always maintain this routine: Check hallway/ventilation lighting -> Open the Camera, turn on the Music Box -> Close the camera -> Put on your mask immediately (in case an enemy is lurking).
• Foxy hates light: masks are ineffective against Withered Foxy. When you see him in the hallway, flash your flashlight continuously to scare him away.
• Listen to the sounds: HTML5 horror games require sound. Wear headphones! Footsteps, Balloon Boy's laughter, or Mangle's buzzing in the ventilation shaft are vital signals for survival.
